Redefining "Helper"
My Brave Girls,
Sometimes people use the word "helper" to make women sound like "assistant managers" or someone who just carries the bags. But in the original language of the Bible, the word is Ezer.
The Story: In Genesis 2, God says it is not good for man to be alone, so He creates an Ezer Kenegdo. This same word, Ezer, is used most often in the Bible to describe God when He is our "Help" in battle. It’s a military word. It means a "Strong Rescue."
You were designed to be a spiritual warrior, a strong rescue to those around you, and a partner who brings strength that would otherwise be missing.
"And the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper (Ezer) comparable to him.’" (Genesis 2:18)
🛡️ Mum Tips:
Don't Dim Your Light: Being a "helper" doesn't mean being quiet or weak. It means bringing your full strength to the table.
Be a Rescuer: Look for the person at school who is "alone" and be their Ezer—their strong friend.
Final Word: You weren't created to be a doormat; you were created to be a pillar. Never apologize for being strong.
